Common conditions

The campaign aims to encourage the public to ‘think pharmacy first’ for a range of minor conditions which community pharmacies can advise and treat under the common conditions scheme. This scheme is currently provided in almost all pharmacies across the North East and North Cumbria.

Encouraging women aged 16-64 with an uncomplicated UTI to go to a participating community pharmacy for a timely consultation, advice
and prescriptions rather than their general practice.
